Plant A Row 2010 Garden Events End in Charlotte

(5-26-10) CHARLOTTE, NC – The Garden Writers Association (GWA), Plant a Row for the Hungry (PAR) and The Scotts
Miracle-Gro Company participated in the dedication of the newly expanded Little Sugar Creek Greenway Community
Garden at an event on May 26. This community garden will complement existing garden plots at the site through rejuvenation
and expansion. The garden provides fresh, organically grown food and serves as a teaching facility where citizens
can learn the benefits of earth-friendly compost gardening. The Little Sugar Creek garden is part of Give Back To Gro,
ScottsMiracle-Gro’s national community gardening outreach partnership supporting neighborhood and youth involvement,
while also contributing to the needs of local hunger relief.
