Award Focuses on Community Gardening and Feeding the Hungry

Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Botanic Garden on Capitol Hill was the site of a special recognition ceremony conducted by the Garden Writers Association (GWA) and The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company to honor the efforts of Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) in promoting community gardening and growing a garden for the greater good by donating produce to feed the hungry.
