8:00 to 11:00AM: Check in - FGS Press Room (TBA), Navy Pier. Regisration and continental breakfast, hosted by Chicago Flower & Garden Show. Explore and photograph the show on your own before the crowds arrive. (Show opens to the public at 10am)

11:00AM: Welcome - Tony Abruscato, Chicago Flower & Garden Show director

11:15AM: Live Soil & the Creation of Gardens - Terry Guen, Landscape Architect at Terry Guen Design Associates, Inc.

12:00PM: Lunch with time for networking - sponsored by the Chicago Flower & Garden Show

12:00PM: GWA Region V Business Meeting

12:30PM: PechaKucha-Style Presentation - staff at Cantigny Gardens

1:00PM: Finding and Incorporating Locally Grown Natives - Heather Prince or Carol Massat with The Growing Place and possibly representatives from Midwest Groundcovers.

Terry Guen, Landscape Architect at Terry Guen Design Associates, Inc.
TGDA’s recent Chicago projects include landscape design and construction review for Chicago’s Lakefront Millennium Park, including the Columbus Drive Pedestrian Bridge, and the Lurie Garden, the South Lakeshore Drive Reconstruction Project - Jackson Park, the North Avenue Beach Park, and DuSable Harbor Park.
