In a full day workshop, Daniel Gasteiger will describe how the publishing industry has all but shut out unpublished writers and explains how the Internet provides unprecedented opportunity for both aspiring writers and published authors to succeed.  Registrants will need to have a laptop computer to connect with the on-site network.

5:00 PM:  Dinner plans for those registrants that are staying in town and want to continue networking.  More plans will be made closer to the actual date of the workshop 

About the presenter: Daniel Gasteiger
Daniel Gasteiger is an author and a social media evangelist. He has published more than 300 articles in consumer computing magazines and has authored or co-authored five books about computer applications. He has spoken at dozens of IT industry trade shows and user groups and has worked extensively as a programmer and software designer. Gasteiger also blogs about gardening and is the author of Yes, You Can! And Freeze and Dry It, Too from Cool Springs Press. He provides SEO and Social Media Marketing training and consulting services and he leads classes for writers about how to become relevant in the emerging online publishing industry.
