Promote Your Work
Those who are registered will also be
able to submit an 8.5 x 11 sheet that
promotes their writing, photography
and speaking skills. These will be
posted on a “Services Offered” board
in the New England GROWS! Career
Center which is in a prime location and
a destination spot for many attendees.
(NOTE: Only those registered for our
meeting will be able to have their information
posted. The board will be there
for the entire show.)

come a day or two early so that
they have the opportunity to
fully absorb the show.

Important, Upfront Information:
- This meeting has been moved to a FRIDAY MORNING time
slot.
- You get free registration at New England GROWS! when you
register for this meeting. Do not register or pay for the trade
show before you sign up for the GWA meeting! After paying
for this regional meeting you’ll be given a code that will
allow you to register free for the trade show.
- Bring a tote bag or two. Several businesses are generously donating
products and samples for each attendee to take home,
but it’s up to you to bring your own Swag Bag.
Program Agenda
8:45-9:45a: Networking and GWA meeting registration. (Room 252AB) Come
connect with new acquaintances and old friends. Coffee & cookies
9:45-11:00a: Promoting What We Love: Plants & Our Profession. New plants and meeting new marketing challenges. Panel: Kathy
Tracy (Avant Gardens), and Angela Treadwell-Palmer (Plants
Nouveau); plus possible surprise panelists.
11:00-12:00a: Working Together to Promote Plants, Our Profession
and Gardening. How can plant growers, retailers, marketers
and garden communicators work together to encourage more
people to garden? How can garden communicators better partner
with others in our field? Panel: Kathy Tracy, Angela Treadwell-
Palmer, special guest from Pride’s Corner Farms and audience
participation.
12:00p: Attendees are invited to tour the trade show and attend NEG
educational seminars. The meeting will end with door prizes and
swag-bag materials for all attendees.
12:30p: Lunch and Trade Show on your own.
