The GWA Foundation relies on individual and corporate gifts and donations to fund student scholarships, gardening information and gardening education programs. Your tax-deductible gift can help GWAF expand its efforts to grow gardening and gardening communications. Here are a few simple ways you can help:

In Honor of
Remember someone special with a gift to GWAF. We will acknowledge your gift of $50 or more with a beautiful gift card. Gifts can be made in honor of: birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, teacher appreciation, and other special occasions.

Memorial Gifts
All memorial gifts will be acknowledged promptly with a note of gratitude.

Appreciated Securities
A gift of appreciated securities may maximize your tax savings. A charitable gift of publicly traded stock is deductible at its fair market value, enabling a donor to avoid capital gains tax on any appreciation. Please contact Robert LaGasse at 703.257.1032 for further information.

Matching Gifts
By taking advantage of a company's matching gift program you can generate an additional gift that may automatically double or triple your own contribution.
Here's how to make a matching gift:
Check with your company's human resource department to find out about its policy. Obtain a matching gift form from your company. Fill out your section of this form and send it (along with your donation) to:
