FNGLA Invites GWA Members
For a TPIE Pre-Show Breakfast
January 17, 2008
Hyatt Place/Amerisuites
1851 SE 10th Avenue
Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Early morning Friday (7:00 am), GWA members are invited to join the Garden Centers of America (GCA) attendees and local and industry media for a TPIE pre-show exclusive look at the new plants and new products debuting at the show.  Prior to the show’s opening, the group will visit the New Plants and New Products area for an exclusive look at the items premiering to the industry at TPIE.  Clint Albin from GCA will then lead a pre-show guided tour of the show floor planned to point-out interesting, new or innovative exhibitor items bound for the top national garden centers.  More details on the show at www.tpie.org.

Please RSVP to Jennifer Nelis at jnelis@fngla.org.  Your badge to the event allows access to TPIE for the remainder of the show.

TPIE will offer free demonstrations presented daily outside the 2nd level exhibit area. These 15-20 minute hands-on presentations will cover a variety of tropical topics, including adding a tropical twist to the landscape; the dish on dish gardens and tropical plant gift ideas.  Visit www.tpie.org for a list of demo talks once it becomes available.

Many local nurseries open their doors for TPIE show attendees and will undoubtedly welcome GWA attendees as well!  Visit http://www.fngla.org/tpie/OpenHouse.asp for the ever-expanding list of self-guided tour possibilities.

Orlando’s array of theme parks are approximately 4 hours North if you plan to bring the family to enjoy the warm, tropical paradise January in Florida traditionally provides!
